FAQ

The questions people actually ask.

Straight answers for property managers weighing valet trash. If yours isn't here, call Ken today and you’ll have an answer fast.

How is pricing handled?

Pricing is based on door count, service nights, and add-ons. Schedule a quote and receive on-the-spot pricing after a walkthrough of your property. See the Pricing page for how the three factors work.

Does valet trash cost the property money?

No. The service is resident-funded: residents pay a monthly amenity fee, Alfred's per-door rate sits underneath it, and the property keeps the spread as pure NOI. It's a revenue line, not an expense. Run your property's numbers in the Revenue Calculator.

What contract length or commitment is required?

Flexible terms built around your property, not a national chain's boilerplate. Every community is different, so Ken walks through term options with you directly. Call 859-414-7012 for specifics.

What do residents need to do?

Set out one properly tied bag during the approved evening window, before 8 PM on service nights. That's it.

What happens if a pickup is missed?

If we miss a pickup, we double credit: you get the credit for the missed service plus the same again. And because management receives a completion report every service night, a missed pickup never goes unnoticed or unreported.

What happens if there's a problem?

Alfred reports issues directly and proactively so the property team isn't left guessing. And when you call us, you'll hear back within 2 hours during business hours, 8 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. That's a guarantee, not a goal.

Are containers provided?

Not in the base service. Properties can choose a uniform container program with options as an add-on, so every doorstep looks consistent on service nights.

Do you offer recycling?

Recycling collection is coming soon. It's on the roadmap, and we'd rather launch it right than launch it fast.

Who actually does the work?

W-2 Alfred employees, background checked and paid above market. No 1099 subcontractors, no rotating gig workers. The same accountable team on your property, run by a local owner with no private equity behind him.

Still have a question? Ask the owner.

No call center, no ticket number. You get the owner on the phone.
