Join the Alfred crew.
Alfred runs on W-2 employees, not gig apps and subcontractors. If you want steady evening work with a local company that pays for reliability and promotes from within, we want to hear from you. We're always looking for new talent, even when routes are full.
Valet Trash Route Runner
What the job is
You collect bagged trash from residents' doorsteps at apartment communities in Central Kentucky and get it to the property's dumpster or compactor. Routes run in the evening, typically between 8 PM and midnight. It's real, physical, on-your-feet work: stairs, weather, and lifting are part of the job, and doing it right matters because our name is on every route.
What it pays
Starting pay is $15 per hour as a W-2 employee, with a fast track to raises at 90 days and 180 days, plus opportunities for team bonuses. Expect roughly 12 to 24 hours per week in evening shifts, which stacks well with a day job or classes.
Where it goes
Alfred is a new and growing company, and that's the opportunity: the people who help build it are first in line to lead it. As routes are added, route lead and crew lead roles get filled from within, so early team members who prove themselves grow with the company instead of waiting in line behind years of seniority.
What you need
- 18 years or older
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a background check
- Able to lift trash bags, climb stairs, and work outdoors in all seasons
- Available to work at least 5 nights per week
- Show-up-every-shift reliability. It's the whole brand.
You are not required to own or use your own vehicle for the route itself. Select holidays are off (unpaid).
